Untamed Wilds is a three-mana green sorcery originally from Ice Age (1995) that searches your library for a basic land and puts it into play tapped. It is an early form of land ramp, predating many of the efficient ramp staples used today. Reliable mana acceleration was rare and Untamed Wilds helped establish green’s long-term advantage in resource growth. It was an important building block in green’s color identity. It still appears in Old School–style decks and serves as a clear example of early ramp design. Untamed Wilds is not on the Reserved List
