Ogre Arsonist is a 5-mana red creature from Portal Second Age (1998). When Ogre Arsonist enters the battlefield, you may destroy one land controlled by the defending player. While the card is inefficient by modern standards, it captures the brutal, swingy nature of early Magic design. Ogre Arsonist embodies red’s destructive chaos, burning down the opponent’s resources through raw aggression. The card saw virtually no competitive play due to its slow speed, however Ogre Arsonist remains historically significant as one of the earliest creature-based land destruction effects in the game. Ogre Arsonist is not on the Reserved List
