    Mindsparker is a 3 mana red 3/2 Elemental creature with first strike from Magic 2014. Whenever an opponent casts a white or blue instant or sorcery spell, it deals 2 damage to that player. It had a clear niche during its time in Standard (2013-2014), serving as a “hatebear-style” creature that punishes blue-white control and tempo decks that rely on cheap spells and draw engines. As a 3/2 first striker it can hit reasonably hard and trades favorably in combat while dealing chip damage from triggers. It was a sideboard card in aggressive red decks and midrange shells (e.g. Mono-Red Aggro/RDW (Red Deck Wins), Gruul Aggro (RG Monsters) and Boros Aggro. Mindsparker is not on the reserved list, it doesn’t have any reprints besides promos.
