Kasimir, the Lone Wolf is a six-mana 5/3 Legendary Creature – Human Warrior from Legends (1994). Kasimir was once a hermit on the island of Kusho in Dominaria, living in exile and defending that island from threats. His story in the lore centers on themes of exile, guardianship, and transformation: from a “holy man” to a warrior. In Legends, many cards were legendary creatures that were less optimized for competitive play and more about flavor and world-building. The set experimented with new mechanics, multi-color creatures, and characters. Kasimir has no special ability beyond being a 5/3 vanilla creature for six mana and having the “legendary” creature type, reflecting the early 1990’s style. This card is sometimes played in Commander (EDH), in casual UW creature decks, or “Legends only” themes, where having a symbolically strong legendary is the goal rather than raw efficiency. Kasimir, the Lone Wolf is on the Reserved List.
